Tennessee State Rep. William Lamberth Files Resolution Condemning Neo-Nazism

Tennessee State Representative William Lamberth (R-Portland) filed a resolution on Tuesday condemning neo-Nazism and the National Socialist Movement in the Volunteer State.

“God is the creator of all humans and races,” the resolution reads. “Racism and hatred in any form are repugnant and sinful…There is an intentional effort by neo-Nazis to ignite racial animosity and divide neighbors, friends, and communities by promoting a message of hatred and ethnic cleansing…Neo-Nazis wish to further spread a dangerous ideology rooted in Holocaust Era fascist movements and socialism through their affiliation with the National Socialist Movement.”

“Neo-Nazis have incited violence and used tactics to terrorize others on the basis of their race, ethnicity, or religion,” the resolution adds. “Tennesseans have recognized that neo-Nazi groups promote an ideology in conflict with our nation’s bedrock principles of liberty and justice for all…The people of Tennessee have rejected neo-Nazism and those who promote antisemitism, xenophobia, discrimination, and racial intolerance in all forms…Tennesseans exemplify what it means to “Love thy neighbor as thyself.””

The resolution comes days after a group of masked, anonymous demonstrators waved Nazi flags at the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville on Saturday.

The group was allegedly part of the same Blood Tribe neo-Nazi group as Kent “Boneface” McLellan, as previously reported by The Tennessee Star.

“This week we witnessed a vile display of hate by outsiders who wish to intimidate fellow Tennesseans. These groups do not represent Tennessee nor our shared values,” Lamberth (pictured above) said in a statement upon introducing his resolution on Tuesday.

The Tennessee Faith and Freedom Coalition, which condemned the neo-Nazi group’s march in Nashville over the weekend, applauded Lamberth’s resolution, saying, “Nazism does NOT have a home in TN or in the conservative movement, never has & never will.”

Lamberth’s resolution is sponsored by House Speaker Cameron Sexton (R-Crossville) and State Representatives Jeremy Faison (R-Cosby), Mark Cochran (R-Englewood), Johnny Garrett (R-Goodlettsville), Ron Gant (R-Piperton), Susan Lynn (R-Mount Juliet), Tim Hicks (R-Gray), John Crawford (R-Bristol/Kingsport), Charlie Baum (R-Murfreesboro), Gary Hicks (R-Rogersville), Patsy Hazlewood (R-Signal Mountain), Ryan Williams (R-Cookeville), Jason Zachary (R-Knoxville), Clark Boyd (R-Lebanon), Mike Sparks (R-Smyrna), and Jody Barrett (R-Dickson).

    The Democratic Socialists of Americas have held numerous rallies in downtown Nashville supporting Hamas and mouthing anti-Semitic slogans. Why aren’t they also the subject of a resolution?

    The “Blood Tribe” is disinformation created by the current administration just like the “Patriot Front” group;
